About Your Free Estimate
Our estimates are always free. However, we do ask for the following commitments on your part:
- All parties in the project (spouses, parents, children) must be present at every meeting.
- We need 1 1/2 hours of uninterrupted time to discuss your plans and to do the initial measuring.
- You will have discussed your budget with everyone involved and will have an approximate amount that you are willing to invest.
Note: We can design and build anything if there aren't any budgetary constraints. But it doesn't serve any purpose to design or dream beyond a reasonable budget. So we need to know some goals to work toward. You will find some ballpark figures listed under Approximate Costs.
Will you have a warranty?
We guarantee all our work to be free of defects in materials and installation for a period of two years from date of final county
inspection. You will receive a written warranty and policy for addressing any warranty claims.
Who will be working in our home?
We use a combination of in-house employees and subcontractors to complete our projects. Typically, our employees do all the carpentry, both framing and trim, siding, and
painting and the subcontractors take care of heat, plumbing, electrical, drywall, tile, flooring, and roofing.
We are insured and bonded. Any subcontractors who do not have an independent bond are covered under our bond. All our employees are screened and our subcontractors have all been with us for multiple years.
You will receive a list of subcontractors working on your project with appropriate contact information.
